Disclaimer

Perhaps it comes with time that you start to reflect on your life a lot more than you have ever in the past---the self assesment of one's dexeterity, physical changes, advancements (in what hopefully everyone can relate) with intellect and maturity, so on and so forth. Often, this sort of reflection on the past and comparing it to the present elicits a feeling of triumph in accomplishments and the obvious unraveling of hard work. Other times, it leads you to become increasingly conscious of the absence of things that had once been an engrossingly irresistible part of your life.

With that said, it's with great consideration for my personal interests and the world around us that I've decided to take up writing in this blog once again. However, this time, I've decided that I'd take the investment of my time and energy into blogging a bit more seriously (as opposed to my '07 entries that were written simply to attempt an initiation of a custom between a friend and myself) .

For amusement purposes, I've kept the list of Summer Reading that I had compiled from the time I had started this blog in 2007. I consider myself to be versatile when it comes to my reading interests (anyone who has ever known me knows I love nothing more than burying myself into a book-be it from any facet of work), but there's clearly a difference in what I choose to read now than before. With my newly-found interest in politics, I find myself shying away from the life-long passion of classic literature and more involved in reading auto-biographies and the contributions of individuals to the world as we know it today.

This entry is merely intended to start a new beginning of one old flame that refuses to subside in me (i.e. the aspiring writer within). I will not be posting like that of a conventional blogger that shares their takes on music or movies or whatever have you, but simply that of which I find relavent to me as an individual to write about.

Ciao!
